About Coaching

Coaching is a journey of self-awareness and growth. Coaching helps you design your personal and professional life to reach your greatest potential.

I will partner with you to work on your agenda, discover your passions and help you move forward toward your goals.  Together we will design a roadmap reflecting your life and the path you want to take.

I will help you tap into your core strengths through questioning, brainstorming, shifting perspectives, listening and giving feedback.  You will be challenged, held accountable, acknowledged and supported. 

Coaching is not therapy, consulting or mentoring.  In a coaching relationship, we focus on the present and future, looking at your strengths and building upon those strengths to achieve success.
         
How Coaching Works

Here is a model of how coaching can work:

  1. Typically an introductory session is offered by the coach and is used as an opportunity for clients to experience what a coaching session is like.
  2. Discovery is next. During this phase the coach gets a better understanding of the client and what focus the coaching will initially take.
  3. Awareness follows.  In this phase, clients begin to gain more insight into themselves.  A roadmap, including plans of action and goal setting is developed.
  4. Action occurs.  Client moves forward towards accomplishing the desired actions and goals. 
  5. Success happens!  In this stage the client begins to see a shift and change occurs.
